What does VOICE do?
VOICE works cooperatively with individuals and organizations to provide environmental education and awareness. Our goal is to motivate individuals, business and communities to learn what they can do to create a sustainable world.
VOICE began its efforts in 1989 by helping the City of Manhattan Beach make their new residential recycling program one of the best in the country. VOICE holds meetings which are open to the public and feature speakers on a wide variety of environment issues. VOICE and the City of Manhattan Beach co-host the annual South Bay Earth Day Concert and Celebration in April.
Who can join VOICE?
Anyone who wants to learn what they can do to create a more sustainable lifestyle, business or community is encourage to attend our meetings and events. Volunteers, who have a little or a lot of time, are encouraged to help us create a healthier environment.
When are the meetings?
The meetings are held at 7:00PM on the first Monday of most months. See our calendar for more details.
